Participation tips

  • Active participation: interactive tools are a good opportunity to express yourself; do not be afraid to speak up
  • Use anonymity wisely: if you are worried about being identified, remember to choose anonymous mode
  • Think carefully: think it through before voting; do not pick at random
  • Ask valuable questions: ask questions in Q&A that are helpful to everyone
  • Respect others: Do not submit inappropriate words in the word cloud
  • Participate immediately: when the instructor starts an activity, join as soon as possible; do not delay

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the Instructor know what I submitted?
If the teacher turns on the 'anonymous voting' feature, the teacher cannot see who voted for what. However, if anonymity is not enabled, the teacher can see each person's voting record.
Can I change my choice after voting?
Usually votes cannot be changed after submission, so please think carefully before voting! If you really chose the wrong option, you can ask the teacher for help.
Will the questions in Q&A be kept indefinitely?
Yes, questions in Q&A activities will remain in that activity for later review. However, the Instructor may organise or delete them after the activity ends.
Why is my submitted question not showing?
The instructor may have set "questions require review"; your question will only be shown after the instructor approves it. Please wait patiently!
How many words can be submitted in the word cloud?
It depends on the teacher's settings, usually 1-5 words. The submission interface will show how many words you may still submit.
